Your Vision Insurance and HSA/FSA Spending Options

When it comes to your vision benefits and flexible spending accounts (FSA), you may be surprised to learn that some unused benefits cannot be rolled over into the New Year. Unused FSAs typically expire at the end of every year and restart on January 1st. If you don’t use them by December’s end, they are gone forever. Be sure to check your benefit package for details about your plan.

Vision insurance plans vary in their coverage, and while we don't work directly with the insurance carriers, most plans will reimburse you for your purchase once you provide an itemized receipt which we provide.

If you have a Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account, you can use it to pay for the cost of your prescription eyewear, provided that your FSA or HSA card is affiliated with a major credit card.

If you have a health savings account or flexible spending account, using your FSA/HSA card to order online is just as simple as using any other credit card.

HOW DO I GET A RECEIPT?
We’ll provide a physical copy of your receipt with your purchase. If you need another copy, please call, email or chat us by visiting opticsoutfitter.com.
