Sports goggles and glasses are must-haves for any player on the field. This is what to consider when choosing prescription baseball glasses.

Clear: clear tints are best for all-around/all-season use. If you are often in varying playing environments (indoors/outdoors, day/night) you may find yourself battling the sun.  Light Responsive: A great single lens option for bright light to low light, indoors to outdoors. Light responsive lenses start virtually clear and darken as the light conditions change. Comes standard with a transition to a grey tint.

All Rec Specs sports eyewear is made with shatter-proof polycarbonate lenses. This provides a complete product (frame and lenses), that is impact-resistant and meets or exceeds ASTM Sport Impact Standards. There are several prescription options available with Rec Specs sports eyewear. Single-vision: Lens prescription is set for one type of correction. Standard lenses are set for distance vision. Progressive: Provides distance, intermediate, and reading correction in one lens. Sometimes referred to as tri-focal lenses.  With every purchase, an Anti-Fog treatment is integrated onto the lenses to minimize fogging during high-energy activities and/or playing in cooler temperatures.

Do your glasses sit too close to your face, or sit on your cheek bones? If you've ever experience lash-clash, when your eyelashes hit the lenses, you know what I'm talking about. Rec Specs with Low-Bridge Fit may be the answer for you. Low-Bridge Fit styles feature a deeper and narrower nosepad than Standard Fit, providing a solution to keep the frames off of your cheekbones and properly resting on your nose.
